Extended Internal Auditor Training - ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems

Objectives
This course is designed to provide delegates with a
general understanding of the requirements of auditing Quality Management
Systems (QMS) established to ISO 9001:2008 requirements and how to assess
their effectiveness. It teaches the delegates the benefits and pitfalls
in auditing such systems. It teaches delegates to assess the control over
processes. It teaches the techniques and skills needed and how to audit
such an organisation.
Course Description
This course comprises a mix of lectures and practical
exercises designed to provide the delegates with the skills and knowledge
needed to participate in QMS audits. The course is run over 2 days with
exercises designed to give the delegates “hands-on“ experience.
This course is approved by the IRCA and contains a requirement for continuous
assessment of the delegates and an examination. It is certificated by the
IRCA to ISOQAR Ltd Registration Number
A17396. Successful completion
of the course will result in the delegates being awarded a recognised certificate.
Subject to ISO 9000 Foundation training to gain registration, this course may enable delegates to gain registration with the IRCA registration
scheme subject to qualifications and experience requirements.

Course Tutors
The course tutors are all practicing quality management
system auditors with considerable experience in the implementation of the
quality management system standards. They are able to communicate their
experiences and give advice on the application of the systems to delegates
from first hand experience.
Course Duration and Structure
This course runs for 2 days from 08.30 until 17.00
hrs each day. It may be run in-house for organisations wishing to train
a team of auditors.
The course covers 2 days and is a mix of formal
lectures and practical exercises.
