WANT TO START...

...BUT DON'T KNOW HOW

Work with a Consultant....

Many organisations choose to employ the services of a 'quality' consultant to help with the implementation of ISO 9001.

ISOQAR does not offer consultancy. However, we can provide a list of consultants known to us.   If you would like further details, including information on local consultants with relevant experience, please check out our on-line independent consultants search by clicking HERE.

Do it yourself....

If you prefer to 'go it alone' you may like to consider Croner's Quality Manager. This is a comprehensive manual containing a wealth of information and a model management system. It is a one stop reference source for managers who are responsible for developing and maintaining quality, environmental or health & safety programs in their organisation. Call Croner on 020 8247 1175 or visit www.croner.co.uk and search for Quality Manager.

Searching the internet is also a good way to find other approaches to starting ISO 9001. www.isoinabox.co.uk is one such example.

Training courses ....

Training courses about how to put together a Quality Management System are also readily available. Go to www.isoqar.com/training or contact ISOQAR for more details.

Obtain a copy of the ISO 9001: 2000 standard....

The actual standard can be obtained from the Stationery office. The ISO Publications section can be contacted on 020 7242 6410.

Standards can also be ordered/downloaded from The Stationery Office On-Line Bookstore:

A document named ISO 9004 (obtainable as above) provides practical guidance and examples of how to interpret the requirements of ISO 9001.
